Loring Heights was built in the 1940s. According to LoringHeights.org, the neighborhood was originally two separate subdivisions; Lynhurst Acres to the south of Deering Road and Loring Heights to the north of Deering Road.
The neighborhood has a very active association that successfully completed a huge renovation of its park, which is amazing and definitely worth a visit.
