Median Home Sales Prices

Housing inventory remains at an all-time low and, according to the latest National Association of Realtors Metropolitan Median Area Prices and Affordability report, home sales prices in the Atlanta-Sandy Springs-Marietta area grew 9.2% from Q2 of 2014 to Q2 of 2015.

Closer to my home, in Atlanta’s westside neighborhood of Channing Valley, home sales prices kept pace with the greater metro area. While slightly behind the metro average, the rise in Channing Valley home values lagged compared to our closest Brandon neighborhoods primarily due to new home sales.

Atlanta Projected to Outperform Nation

More good news, according to PNC Bank, Atlanta is projected to outperform the nation in key categories over the next two years.
