Top performing neighborhoods emerging in the first half of year

The number of sales between January – June 2018 has increased ZERO percent over January – June 2017 for the area covered by the Hatch Neighborhood Report, and the average sales price increased 5% for the same time period.

Despite the lack of homes for sale throughout metro Atlanta, several neighborhoods in the E. Rivers Elementary school district are emerging as top-performing markets in the report. These neighborhoods are seeing double-digit growth in the number of homes sold and average sales prices for first half of 2018 over the first half of 2017. Find out which neighborhoods by downloading this issue.

The average sales price in the five-county metro area* jumped 7% and experienced a decrease of 1% in sales for the same time period. Check out the numbers here.

The Hatch Neighborhood Report compares year-to-date sales data to the previous year to measure the health of the housing market of Buckhead and the surrounding areas, and to compare their sales activity to the metro area as a whole. Reporting sales activity for the year allows us to identify top-performing neighborhoods.
