Earlier this year I wrote about potential restaurant in the development on Howell Mill Road near the intersection of Howell Mill and Collier Roads, where there is a new mixed-use development. For the post, I interviewed the developer, Eric Weatherholtz, and he told me about the restaurants slated for the area. Now, according to recent media reports, I have more details on the newest restaurants.

Howells, which will be located in suite 100 of the 1962 building, is reportedly going to be open by November, brought to you by the guys that collaborated previously on Atwoods Pizza, Hearth Pizza Tavern, and Camps Kitchen & Bar.

The restaurant will service brunch, lunch, and dinner. The menu looks to be a fun mix of pizza, pasta, and other dishes with international influences. There will also be housed smoked meats on the menu such as brisket and ribs.

Also, Zunzi’s, the Savannah-based South African-inspired sandwich shop, is also moving into the development with a targeted opening date of early December, according to What Now Atlanta. The menu includes items with homemade South African sausage, falafel, and pita wraps. Is your mouth watering yet? Mine is!

Lastly, according to the leasing property brochure, Circle Sushi will also open in the development directly next to Berkshire. At the time of publishing, I was not able to confirm if this is the same Circle Sushi restaurant as in Dunwoody Place.

I’m so excited to have these restaurants in my neighborhood, Channing Valley! My family and I have lived in the area for almost 10 years, and it’s fun to watch the neighborhood grow up. I’m eager to see how the rest of the retail in this area develops too.

If you haven’t already, you must come check it out and if you’re interested in shopping for a home in our area, now is such a fantastic time to do so. As these developments wrap up, property values will continue to rise, so now’s a great time to jump on in!

Cheers,

Michelle
