I love living on the west side of Atlanta, aka the Upper Westside, and today, I have the entire scoop for you about the latest mixed-use development along Marietta Blvd., Westside Village.

I first reported on the development back in July 2018, and the project is gaining steam. This place has everything, a day care, boutique fitness facility, dentist, yoga, juice, a bank, restaurants, and TOWNHOMES. Psst… I have a bunch of official renderings at the bottom of the post, so keep scrolling.

Upscale Townhomes

The upcoming townhouse community is aptly known as Westside Village. Marketed as an “exclusive, low-maintenance community of just 19 upscale townhomes,” prices start in the $440,000s, and a few sites are already for sale.

Retail – what’s there now

I wasn’t kidding when I said this place has everything. Here’s what’s there now: Primrose School, The Refinery-a boutique fitness center, Yonder Yoga, Clean Juice, AT&T, and Aqua Tots Swim School.

Restaurants – what’s to come

Based on reporting, and the community’s site plan, we are going to love this place. Plus, with the center’s open container policy, you can grab a cocktail, and hang out on the shared patio. The complete site plan is below.

Here’s what’s to come over the next year, and I can’t wait to eat at every one of these:

• Marlow’s Tavern will open up its 18th Atlanta-area location, according to leasing info. The site is currently under construction, but official renderings show a sidewalk, and rooftop patios. See the rendering below.
• Amar Bien, Spanish for “well-loved,” is a new restaurant from the owners of Sweet Auburn BBQ. Atlanta Eater reports the restaurant will open next spring for lunch and dinner, and “will be a full-service Mexican restaurant emphasizing on vegetables.”
• Desta Ethiopian Kitchen, is slated to open February 2020 according to What Now Atlanta. This will be Atlanta’s third location.
• Ted’s Montana Grill, is aiming for a May 2020 opening, if not earlier
• Westside Pizzeria will move from its current location to the Westside Village in early 2020. The owner promises to maintain the current atmosphere, just “a little nicer.”
• Freestanding Dunkin’ Donuts/Baskin Robbins!

Retail – what’s to come

• Deka Lash, a lash extension studio.
• Salty Dawg Pet Salon, “a new kind of pet salon.”
• Base Coat Nails
• Pacific Dental
• Roosters Men’s Grooming, “the classic barbershop.”
• My Salon Suite, “a thriving and connected community of independent salon owners.” Pretty cool concept.
